Yesterday marked our fourth English Speaking Day with another very exhilarating theme “EnglishLand Physical Challenge.” The event witnessed an ever-increasing number of students enthusiastically participating throughout the day. It was encouraging to see more and more students engaging in conversations and activities solely in English. The vibrant atmosphere and growing participation showcased the dedication and enthusiasm of our students. BLCWC-ers all engaged in pushing their physical and language limits from football obstacle races and juggling to Chinese Kung Fu chair and hula hoop. In just a day, we recorded as many as FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY SIX times of such physical feats; English conversations and laughter were heard everywhere at BLCWC.
A student from 4D Teddy said yesterday when he saw our English Panel Chairman Mr. Mong, ‘Thank you very much, Mr. Mong for organising the English Speaking Day. I love these fun English activities.’ Indeed, because of the fun, gamified and multisensory nature of our English Speaking Days as well as the participation of Principal, Vice Principal, Assistant Principal and teachers from all subjects, more and more BLCWC-ers build up their enthusiasm for English with each of the following students collecting up to 41 stamps during the event (as of today):
